Research interests

My interests lie primarily in developing environmental education material for school children, namely booklets, posters, field guides and nature games. At present I am involved in developing  a series of Environmental Education Activity books titled "Our World" for standards I to VIII, which will be prescribed for all state govt. schools in Andhra Pradesh under the A.P. National Green Corps programme . I also give hands-on training to students through talks, field trips and nature games.

Appointments and professional experience

2005-2008: Project cum Administration Officer, WWF-India-A.P. State Office for the Biodiversity study of ICRISAT, Patancheru, and Community based Conservation at Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary.

2004-2005: Project Officer, APNGCS, Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh Environment Programme (APEP).

2004: Assistant Research Officer, IIPS, Mumbai, WHO- World Health Survey.

2003: Teacher, Asha Prerna School, Binnaguri.

2002-2003: Project Assistant, RANWA, Pune in project titled 'Ecosystem Assessment and Planning Inputs for Northern Western Ghats'.
