Appointments and research experience

2007- till date: Working as Lecturer in Zoology at Govt. College, Kodanchery, Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

2004-2007: Worked as Lecturer at the PG & Research Dept. of Zoology & Wildlife Biology, Farook College, Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

  • Co-investigator in the UGC Minor Research Project entitled "Study of the Ecology and Diversity of Butterflies and Moths (Class - Insecta; Order - Lepidoptera) in the Farook College Campus and Adjacent areas, Kozhikode, Kerala"

  • Co-investigator in the UGC Major Research Project entitled "Study of the Biodiversity and ecology of Kadalundy Estuarine Wetlands near Calicut, Kerala" funded under the CPE Scheme.

2002-2004: Worked as Junior Research Fellow (CSIR)  at Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology & Natural History (SACON), Coimbatore, in a project roject titled "Comparative Ecology of the Langurs of the Genus Semnopithecus in Southern India"

2001-2002: Worked as Substitute Lecturer at the PG & Research Dept. of Zoology & Wildlife Biology, Farook College, Kozhikode, Kerala, India.


Fellowships/awards/grants

Margot Marsh Biodiversity Fund/ Primate Action Fund by Conservation International, Washington DC, through the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS), Bangalore for Doctoral Research work (2003).

Selected for SPM Fellowship Test & Interview for being among the top 20% of CSIR JRF Awardees (2001).

CSIR/UGC NET Junior Research Fellowship in Life Sciences (2001).

CSIR/UGC NET Lectureship in Life Sciences (2000).
