Research interests
My
principal research interests fall within the fields of taxonomy,
evolutionary ecology, community ecology and conservation biology of
reptiles. My present work and interests are in the taxonomy,
systematics and evolution of Gekkonids, Scincids, Lacertids, Agamids
Varanids, primitive burrowing snake taxa (Typhlopids & Uropeltids)
and higher snake taxa (Colubrids, Elapids & Viperids); conservation
ecology of rare and data deficient species and community ecology of
Indian reptiles.
